I would like to obtain more information about how Judy Baker got started and any training that she or the employees at United went through. We would like to start a similar counseling service in our branches.

Any contact information would be appreciated.

In my opinion, spending money and working with CUSOs over other vendors just makes more sense. Working with a CUSO, you know they have a commitment to the industry and serving others, and not just to the bottom dollar.

As hard as times are now, I think that as we come out of it the industry will be stronger than ever. The opportunity is ripe for CUs to spread their message and help people get back into their financial footings.

Great article Bill! I especially like the repeated message of staying true to your mission as a credit union and that capital is for times like this.
